St. John’s is part of the Episcopal Church, one of the many churches that descends from the Church of England. We are members of the Anglican Communion, the third-largest body of Christians in the world.
We believe in following the teachings of Jesus Christ, God in human flesh, who shows us that God is love and saves us through his life, death, and resurrection. We promise in our baptism to seek and serve Jesus Christ in all persons, loving our neighbor as ourselves, and to strive for justice and peace among all people.
