Carrie Troester
SJEEC Director
She/Her/Hers
Carrie Troester became the Director of St. John’s Early Education Center in June of 2023. Previously, Carrie had taught at the preschool for four years. Both of Carrie’s children went to preschool at St. John’s and loved their experience there. Carrie graduated from Miami University with a degree in Anthropology but later discovered her love of teaching. She has a Master’s of Education from Lesley University and received her certification through Ashland University. She now has twenty years of experience as an educator. As Director, Carrie loves supporting her staff, creating a culture of inclusivity, and providing opportunities for children to grow through play.
Carrie enjoys spending time kayaking, creeking, and taking walks with her husband and two boys. She also loves growing things in her garden, traveling, and trying new recipes. Fun fact, Carrie has THREE fish tanks at home.
Contact Carrie about scheduling a tour of the Early Education Center if you or someone you know has a three, four or five-year-old who is ready for preschool.
You should ask Carrie about: her work with and on behalf of dyslexic children.
